Sadly I was disappointed. Before going I checked the red mango reward card online and saw we had a $5 off for my birthday so we decided to go. When we got there, there was no dairy free alternatives which is unfortunate. The biggest issue I had though was when I told the clerk I had the card she said that there was no rewards at all, even though I had just checked. She was really rude and short with us. I won't be going back, wasn't a pleasant outing.

This is my favorite froyo place. It's so good, especially popcorn, taro, and original flavors. Most flavors are pretty decent ... but avoid dark chocolate... there are usually 8 different flavors and new ones pop up all the time so you'd definitely find something you like or something new to like. They're also cool when I ask for 3-4 sample cups. I sample all i want and then pay under $4 for a full cup of yogurt w/ toppings. I'm hooked!!!

Recently I have been visiting Red Mango and find myself coming back on a regular basis -- they not only have incredibly friendly staff but what's nice is you're able to sample all of the flavors before you buy. This last visit, the owner was actually behind the counter and shared with us what actually goes into making the frozen yogurt. Just down the street, a yogurt shop called Orange Leaf opened attempting to copy Reg Mango's business model -- I went in to try it but (for me) it was way too sugary and their "yogurt" also lacks fresh ingredients. Orange Leaf supposedly just makes their "yogurt" from powder and milk whereas Red Mango is made from all natural ingredients AND has probiotics (to aide with digestion and other health-related 'stuff.') Overall, my experience at Red Mango has been better by a ten fold. TIP: Red Mango has coupons floating around the internet (it's more cost effective too!)

This is good stuff. The fro-yo here ain't too sweet (like another place down the street which to me tastes like Ice Cream but is actually fro-yo...so I go there to indulge my sweet tooth)...but if ya wanna feel semi-healthy (at least in my book lolol), come here! It's tucked behind a corner and they have the most delicious recipes. There are a lot more Red Mango's around the Chicago suburbs, but this place is a sure draw if you want good fro-yo.

Restaurant was unclean and a little unorganized. There weren't any napkins or spoons and also weren't any lids for taking it to go.

Can't get enough Red Mango. The yogurt is delicious, and it is my understanding that they are unique in that they use a liquid base yogurt instead of powder, so the live probiotic cultures are in a far more natural state. It has a limited life to be perfectly fresh, and the owner is diligent about keeping everything fresh. That tangy flavor means you're eating the good stuff! Somehow I doubt he has to throw much away, though, as the popularity of this store is obvious by the frequent shoulder-to-shoulder customers inside. Additional flavors have been added in the past months, and everything is delicious. I love the Pomegranate--and I load it with huge raspberries, blueberries, kiwi and mango. Their loyalty (rewards) card has an iPhone "Check-in" option which eliminates the need to have the card out, and is really handy. The staff knows how to be friendly, courteous and efficient. It's always a pleasure to go to Red Mango.

Typical yogurt place, pretty delicious.

Very good yogurt. It is nice it is self service , but I don't think they have the variety of favors that other places like this have. It is overall very good though do I will continue to go back.

Excellent frozen yogurt. Not the overly sweet American version, but real delicious tangy frozen yogurt. The frozen yogurt tastes like mild Greek yogurt, and it goes really well with (surprise) the mango. Best frozen yogurt place in town.

One of my favorite places to go for frozen treats. I went there before they changed it to self serve and loved it then. Now they've changed the interior completely and made it a self serve bar. I still really love it, so either option is fine with me. But I will say that since changing the style to self serve, I have never seen the place so full. I went a week or so ago and the place was completely packed. They also seem to have added a little more seating now, but when I was there it didn't matter because there were way more people than seats. I really like that they have several flavors of yogurt to choose from and tons of toppings you can pile on. I usually actually only get a couple toppings such as fresh raspberries and dark chocolate chips, but I've seen people pile on so many toppings it was hard to tell if they actually had yogurt in their bowl. At the end of the line is a scale where you weigh your bowl and pay. They also have some other options beside frozen yogurt. I tried one of their smoothies before and it was pretty good. I'm not a big fan of ice cream at all, but I love going to Red Mango and getting frozen yogurt.

Consistent with the other Red Mango stores I have been to, though self-service was a first. Liked the variety of flavors and there were a good amount of toppings.

Pretty yum, pretty yum. So I went here after sitting and watching the football game at Jake's on a fine Saturday afternoon. I was initially met by a man, who I presume to be the owner or manager, talking about all of the probiotic benefits of the yogurt. It was endearing. I tried quite a few flavors and was pleasantly surprised. But went with a peanut butter and chocolate swirl (which is a far cry from my usual tendency toward original tart) and it was DELICIOUS. The massive cheesecake pieces you can get there do not hurt either.

Nothing is better than some yummy frozen yogurt with fresh fruit on a hot, humid day in the midwest (or anywhere for that matter). I like that they changed the place to self-service, which has given customers more options of getting different flavors. Red mango is on the pricier side for frozen yogurt in general, but I guess it's better than nothing given that this is the only frozen yogurt place in town. Sometimes the floor near the topping bar gets really sticky, maybe they could try to keep the place cleaner on busy days.

Red Mango is my favorite place to go! It's always very clean in there and they always have so many topping choices. The yogurt is always refreshing and tasty and the different favors they get are always exciting to try. The staff has always been friendly to me when I come in and is attentive to anything I need. They always apologize and give coupons if something goes wrong. Recently though, I believe she is the managers wife, has been coming up and re-explaining about the yogurt and health benefits and won't really let me be and let me get my yogurt. She's very nice and all but I feel pressured and over whelmed. I enjoy the small talk the student employees engage with me better.
(5)Angelica S.
I love their new self serve renovation. Their flavors and toppings are excellent and so many to choose from. One thing about this place is that it would be better to have more seating.

A short and sweet review: Red Mango frozen yogurt is the real deal. The original flavor yogurt is tart with just the right amount of sweetness and tastes like real yogurt... frozen. The health benefits are far greater than the average "frozen yogurt" joint since they use live active culture yogurt and all-natural ingredients. The toppings bar is tempting with a huge variety of fresh (or fresh from frozen) fruits, candies, chocolates, and sauces. Be careful though... your dessert is priced by weight and those heaped on toppings will quickly bring your bill to $6 or more for an average size cup. If you skip the toppings or at least go easy on them, you'll still get a nice treat for a reasonable price. Finally, don't forget to ask for a Red Mango rewards card. Your points quickly pile up for a $5 reward and they also occasionally add $1 off coupons to your card with a friendly email reminder.

It's one if the best in this area. But there are many better shops outside.

Love It!! The smoothies are awesome!! The white peach is yummy! Every time I go in the employees are super nice, especially the older gentleman (I think he is the owner). They don't put crap like corn syrup, Dextrose, Maltodextrin, etc. in their yogurt like the place that just opened around the corner. Get the membership card. It's always saving me money! They are constantly putting discounts on it.

This little eatery is good for what it is. If you're looking for fresh fruits and a healthier snack, Red Mango is definitely the place to go. They serve items such as frozen yogurts, custards, and smoothies, and what makes the place unique is that you can virtually add anything to what you order; whether you decide on a candy confection or a healthier fresh fruit choice. I personally enjoyed my smoothie quite a bit, but then again, someone bought it for me after I helped them move some things out of their apartment. Red Mango is a little more expensive, so that is something to watch out for if trying to conserve your dollars. There are cheaper places to get your fix. The atmosphere in the eatery is great. Everything is white and bright and gives off a very modern impression while also maintaining a clean aura.

This place is very conveniently located close the Purdue campus, so if you are in the mode for ice cream/frozen yogurt, it is a good place to visit. They have a variety to choose from and a good amount of toppings.

This Red Mango was a mess. Half of the self-serve machines were out of order (greatly limiting flavor selection), the yogurt was half melted as soon as it was out of the machine and the store itself had a very cluttered feel to it. It's been a while since I lived in a Big Ten College Town, so maybe I shouldn't hold this to a non-college town standard, but...it was too hectic. I've definitely experienced bettered. On the plus side, the toppings were fresh and the staff was very friendly.

I love Red Mango. After class, I always want to buy a big cup of frozen yogurt with nuts and fruits!

The new self-serve Red Mango is even better than before! I have never seen Red Mango so crowded before, there were tons of people eating inside and a small line as well. They have tons of different flavors such as white peach, black cherry, dark chocolate, strawberry, pomegranate, original, and some others that I'm missing. If you've never had Red Mango before I have to warn you that it's not your frozen yogurt that you're used to from TCBY. It actually tastes like yogurt but in a soft-serve form (and much better in my opinion). There are tons of toppings to choose from and you're free to mix and match to your hearts content. Be careful though, the bowls they offer you are pretty large so you may be tempted to fill the whole thing up, as I saw a few people do. It is 49 cents an oz. so keep that in mind and you wont know how much it weighs until you're at the end of the line paying. Their smoothies and hot chocolate chillers are also equally delicious. There are so many options!

Red Mango has updated their business to self-serve, and I like it much better. I like being able to get multiple flavors and control what toppings I put on, and how many. That being said, of course, you're more likely to spend more money with self-serve... :) The new flavors they have, and especially the peach, are heavenly. The only downside to the improvements is that the line is out the door nearly every time I go!

Disclaimer: I've never been a big frozen yogurt fan despite getting it in ice cream stores like Ben&Jerry's. I don't get it either. I used to go to Purdue but graduated a few years ago. I went back for a quick visit and went to the newly* opened Red Mango with one of my friends. Supposedly it took 2 years for the store to go live once the building was built, there must have been some kind of crazy dispute. Currently there are four flavors: original, pomegranate, tangomonium (citrus), and the seasonal Madagascar vanilla. Like any good foodie in a new location I requested samples for all four before making up my mind. Good thing I did since I was only able to taste two (original and pomegranate) without making faces (which I'm sure amused the people working there). The favor of the tangomonium was way too strong and tart and the vanilla too sweet.. I ended up with the small original and three topping (kiwi, mochi, and dark chocolate chips). The toppings are reasonably price with 3 for $1, it's much cheaper for 3 as single topping is 50 cents (or something close). But with that being said I much prefer the froyo places around Ann Arbor.

I have never been to a Red Mango with so many flavors! This place was clean and uncrowded. While visit Purdue on a recruiting trip I enjoyed the sushi place across the street and a yummy cup of Froyo after. I would highly suggest this combo! I think this location had 10 self serve yogurt flavors. I really enjoy the fruit flavors at Red Mango which taste more natural and yogurt(ish) than some other Froyo places. If you are looking for a super sweet desert like Froyo this might not be the place for you. Although they have those flavors here too. If I'm looking for something a little less healthy I usually don't go to a Red Mango. Give this place a try :)

My first time at a red mango and decided to get a smoothie. I got the mango melody smoothie and it was delicious. It was very fresh as they use the fruit that they have at the toppings bar.
(5)Angie K.
Great smoothies. But I wish they made them with organic fruit.
(4)Jenny R.
The frozen yogurt here tastes like...yogurt. It's tart, and the flavors are interesting (such as white peach, pomegranate, along with favorites like chocolate and vanilla), and even complex. It is definitely better than the too-sweet, heavy-textured, strangely bland frozen yogurt at most national or regional chains. The calorie information is listed for each flavor, and it would be better if they would list that same information for the toppings. Speaking of the toppings - there's something for everyone. Fresh fruit, cereal, chocolate chips...my favorite is the mochi. The pricing structure (per oz, including toppings) is simple, and the self-serve aspect allows you to control portion, which is good.

consistent with other red mangos. too bad it wasn't self serve when we went.

I was excited to have this place in West Lafayette, but they smelled funny when I visited this place a couple of weeks ago.
(4)Joey C.
Yummy yogurt! I like that it is within walking distance from campus... great place to go for a cold treat on a hot day!
(4)Mark D.
the decor in red mango is really nice and match with their frozen yogurt. their variety of yogurts are good enough to have business. almost all of their flavors are good. but, i think i can find those exact tastes in the nearby supermarkets with lower prices. The thing is Red Mango's yogurts are just so simple and not new to me. i want them add some other kinds which is unique for US customers.
